Hi all , just a brief summary of what has been happening with the Social Care, claimants and welfare sub group. We have met a couple of times now, and have been discussing how to get \'service users\' and claimants involved in the campaign.
We have also been discussing what protests and actions we can take over welfare reform and the implementation of workfare, and the tougher conventionality and sanctioning for those receiving JSA.
We are also looking at the practices of ATOS , the company who are carrying out assessments on people who want to claim disability related benefits.
If anyone reading this has information on cuts, sanctions, welfare reform, social services, care, etc - especially if you are directly affected or know of someone who is - then please post up information here.
