The first hustings meeting planned for the mayoral election has been cancelled because of ‘lack of interest‘. This may say everything you need to know about the election of a mayor for Bristol. However, where hustings take place BADACA wants to ensure that candidates are forced to face up to the key local issues – cuts and privatisation of jobs and services. Current details of hustings meetings are here. This information will be updated regularly so keep an eye on it, attend the meetings and ask questions. We will publicise candidates’ views as widely as possible. We plan to attend hustings meetings and put questions to candidates. If you have an idea for a question please email it to email@example.com. We will try to ensure that as many of our questions are put to the candidates at as many of the hustings as possible.
