Join The TUC’s ”A Future That Works” Demonstration In London On October 20th
By admin | September 25, 2012 | Categories: Uncategorized
In the next three weeks, BADACA plans to ensure that as many people as possible from Bristol get to the TUC’s ‘A Future That Works’ demonstration in London on Saturday October 20th. Many unions have arranged coaches from Bristol and surrounding areas. In most cases these are free to members and their families. Some extend this to ‘friends’. Some others are not free but subsidised.
Details of all coaches from the South West can be found on the False Economy website here. Each entry links through to booking information. Entries on the web page are in alphabetical order of the title, but some entries have been made with the title as the departure town/city (eg Bristol) and others have titles like ‘Coach From Bristol’. If you are looking for a particular union or departure point it’s worth scrolling all the way down to try to find the one you want.
If your union isn’t already running a coach, please encourage them to do so. Anger at the government’s austerity policies extends well outside the organised trades union movement. Many non-union members will want to go to London for the demonstration. If you are not a union member we would encourage you to contact any of the unions who are running coaches and try to persuade them to let you have a seat. If you can’t get a seat on a coach, then email admin@bristolanticutsalliance.org.uk. and we’ll do our best to help.
