Save The NHS – But Don’t Forget Pensions
The government wanted us to think the the public sector pensions dispute was over. We didn’t believe them and now we know we were right. Thursday May 10th will see another strike of PCS, Unite & UCU members. Members of other unions involved in the dispute are pushing for more action locally and nationally. BADACA will be fully involved in activities on May 10th. Look out for more information next week. For current information see Facebook here.
Initiated by BADACA, the Save The NHS demonstration on Saturday May 5th has gained support from Bristol Trades Union Council and trades union branches across the city. Please make every effort to publicise and support this demonstration. A flyer can be downloaded from here. And a poster from here. Printed copies of these will be available at the Open Meeting on 26th April. The printed poster is particularly eye-catching and needs to be displayed wherever possible across the city. If you want some but can’t get to the meeting please email admin@bristolanticutsalliance.org.uk. Details and Facebook here.
