A committee has been formed in Bristol to plan events around this year’s international workers’ day on May 1st. In recognition of the sad fact that May Day itself is not a public holiday in Britain, BADACA are organising a march and demonstration on the theme of ‘Save the NHS’ on Saturday 5th May. Details here. In addition to this, various events are being planned by the 1st May Committee on 1st May itself and throughout the May Day week. For more details, check out the new 1st May blog here: https://bristol1stofmay.wordpress.com/
Also to get involved join the Facebook group here: http://www.facebook.com/groups/377093668990667/ or come along to the planning meeting this Friday 27th April at 7.00pm at the Stag & Hounds, Old Market.
